Listening to podcasts at 2x speed is an example of efficiency trap. The more you learn how to consume things quickly, the more crap you will end up consuming. The goal is never to listen to thousands of podcasts but to learn information that are useful and relevant; to apply them to improve your life.

So forget about 2x speed.

Listen smarter instead.

While podcasts can be a great tool for learning, here are three major problems that prevent effective learning:

  2. Time commitment

  3. Inconsistent quality and no standardised structure

🧠 Synthesis Youtube: A tool that lets you semantically search through podcast(s)

We know there are many hidden gems in educational podcasts and videos.

The question is how do we dig them up and synthesise them into something useful that we can apply to our day-to-day lives?

This has led me into building the tool Synthesis Youtube and I am super excited to finally share this with you guys!

With Synthesis Youtube, you can now search through each podcast with your desired topic or question, and have access to timestamped links of relevant segments across different podcast episodes within seconds.

Essentially, you only listen to segments that are relevant to what you want to learn.

No more passive listening.

No more investing huge amount of time.

And no more irrelevant podcast episodes.
